PGPD to Canvass Cheverly Community in Sexual Assault Investigation

Prince George’s County Police detectives will canvass a Cheverly community this evening to pass out Crime Solvers flyers with information about a sexual assault that occurred last night. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.

On October 20, 2014, at about 8:45 pm, a man assaulted a female victim in the 5800 block of Annapolis Road. The suspect is described as a black male, about 35 – 45 years old. He had a beard and wore a dark jacket.

Detectives will begin the canvass this evening at 6:00 pm. They’ll focus their efforts near the 5800 block of Annapolis Road.
